Ollie Wertheim’s path to creating SENSITIVE SKIN began not in a laboratory, but in a deeply personal struggle that countless women share—the frustration of searching for skincare that truly understands sensitive skin.

For years, Ollie cherished her skincare ritual as a sacred form of self-care and empowerment. But as time passed, she watched her once-resilient complexion grow increasingly reactive and fragile. The natural aging process, cumulative effects of anti-aging treatments, and daily environmental stressors were taking their toll. The heartbreaking revelation? The very products she relied on to maintain her youthful glow were often the culprits, packed with harsh chemicals slowly eroding her skin’s natural defenses.

From Frustration to Innovation

Refusing to accept this as inevitable, Ollie immersed herself in the science of skincare with fierce determination. What began as a personal quest became an enlightening discovery: the key to transformative skincare for sensitive skin lay in meticulously selected, plant-based ingredients that work in harmony with the skin’s natural processes.

Formula Botanica International School (2020-2022)

Graduating with distinction (100%), Ollie earned her Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation from the world’s leading school for natural cosmetic science. Her comprehensive training encompassed cosmetic science, skin biology, natural active ingredients, and sustainable formulation practices. Through hands-on projects focused on anti-aging and barrier repair solutions, she developed the expertise to create high-performance, plant-based, toxin-free skincare specifically designed for sensitive and reactive skin.

Cornell University Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (2025)

Building on her formulation expertise, Ollie completed Cornell University’s prestigious Women’s Entrepreneurship Program with a perfect score (100%).
This rigorous program equipped her with advanced knowledge in business strategy, entrepreneurial finance, marketing, growth planning, and negotiation—skills essential for scaling SENSITIVE SKIN while maintaining its commitment to quality and values-driven business practices.
